1. Step into (F11)
Step into is used to run only the current line of the active component or functin library. If the current line of the active component or function library calls a funtion, the called function is displayed in the QuickTest window, and the function library pauses at the first line of the called function.

2. Step Out (Shift +F11)
Use Step Out only after using Step Into to enter an action or a user-defined function. Step Out runs to teh end of the called action or user-defined function, then returns to the calling test or function llibrary and pauses the run session.
Step Out runs the local function in its entirety but if that local function calls some other functin from it, Step Out just goes to the first line of that function and pauses there.
3. Step Over (F10)
Use Step Over to run only the current step in the active test or function lilbrary. when the current step calls another action or a user-defined functin, the called actin or function is executed in its entirety, but the called action or function script is not displayed in the QuickTest window.
