The Fountain

 

Into the sunshine, 

Full of the light, 

Leaping and flashing 

From morn till night! 

 

Into the moonlight, 

Whiter than snow, 

Waving so flower-like 

When the winds blow!  

 

Into the starlight, 

Rushing in spray, 

Happy at midnight, 

Happy by day! 

 

Ever in motion, 

Blithesome and cheery. 

Still climbing heavenward, 

Never aweary（疲倦的） 

 

Glad of all weathers, 

Still seeming best, 

Upward or downward, 

Motion thy rest;-- 

 

Full of a nature 

Nothing can tame, 

Changed every moment, 

Ever the same;-- 

 

Ceaseless aspiring, 

Ceaseless content, 

Darkness or sunshine 

Thy element;-- 

 

Glorious fountain! 

Let my heart be 

Fresh, changeful, constant, 

Upward, like thee! 

 

射入阳光， 

晶莹璀璨。 

跳跃闪亮， 

不辞昼夜！ 

 

射入月光， 

洁白胜雪。 

随风舞动， 

摇曳如花！ 

 

射入星光， 

急流飞溅， 

夜亦欢欣， 

日亦欢欣！ 

 

永不停歇， 

活泼快乐。 

一直攀升， 

永不疲倦。 

 

无论晴雨， 

神采依然。 

或上或下， 

动中取静。 

 

充满个性， 

桀骜不驯。 

瞬息万变， 

始终如一。 

 

不断追求， 

永不满足。 

暗夜白昼， 

本性如此。 

 

美哉喷泉！ 

愿吾心如你， 

鲜活嬗变， 

执着向上！
