York是一位德国的音乐创作人，是个优秀的TranceDJ，

已有超过22年的创作经历。

他早期在Electronic Dance Music (EDM)接受古典乐训练，

5岁时在钢琴教师Andre Terebesi 的带动下开始喜欢音乐，

如今，York(Torsten Stenzel)成为了一位令人尊敬的教授。

其最出名的单曲要算是The awakening，至今已经有很多版本了，

1990年他在ZYX公司发行了他的首张专辑《Recall IV - Contrast》，

1992年成为地下厂牌Crash Records的制作主管。

在一些大牌的专辑内，

如PVD、ATB、AVB、Tiesto、Ferry Corsten

的混音专辑中都可以见到York的作品。
