▌词汇进阶篇
📕 Equipment
📢 Due to an equipment change, departure for Dubai is delayed three hours.
🔍乍看起来这句话很简单，因更换「设备」飞机将会延迟三小时从迪拜机场出发。然而，其实飞机并不是真的有零件要换，因为「equipment」指的就是飞机本机！
📕 Air Pocket
📢 We had a bumpy flight because of air pocket.
🔍字面含义大概是我们的飞行很颠簸，因为有「气袋」？！难道指的是安全气囊吗？ 不不不，Air Pocket 其实是「气流」的口语表达，想想也是很形象呢~
Air Pocket：飞机我喊你一声你敢答应吗？飞机说：不敢不敢，溜了溜了。
📕 Final Approach
📢 The plane turned to make its final approach.
🔍 「那架飞机转身进行最后一次进场」。什么情况？究竟要入场几次？入什么场？其实啊，对飞行员来说，当飞机到达航程最后直线段，对齐跑道的延长中心线，毋须再转弯或操纵飞行，就是Final approach.
📕 Ground Stop
📢 There's a ground stop on all flights headed south from here.
🔍 「ground stop」应该怎么理解呢？其实这句话的意思是由这里飞向南方的飞机因空管被限制起飞，通常这种限制都是因为流量控制。
📕 EFC Time
📢 We've been given an EFC time of 30 minutes after the hour.
🔍 这句话的含义是我们获悉「EFC time」是30分钟后，EFC其实是Expect Further Clearance的缩写，又称为放行时间（release time），是指航班在空中盘旋或在地面滞留时，期望可获放行的时间。
📕 Last Minute Paperwork
📢 We're just finishing up some last minute paperwork and should be underway shortly.
🔍 「last minute paperwork」并不是指最后几分钟的纸上作业哦，而是对飞行计划、载重平衡手册、飞行日志等等资料的修改，通常也意味着航班延误了。
