造谣者

一个女人重复了一些关于邻居的闲话。几天之内，整个社区都知道了这个故事。它所关心的人受到了深深的伤害和冒犯。后来，负责传播谣言的女人得知这是完全不真实的。她很抱歉，就去找一位聪明的老圣人，想知道她能做些什么来修复损失。“去市场吧。”他说：“然后买了一只鸡，然后把它杀了。”然后在你回家的路上，拔起它的羽毛，一个接一个地掉在路上。”尽管她对这个建议感到惊讶，但她还是按照别人说的去做了。第二天，智者说：“现在，去把你昨天掉下来的羽毛拿回我身边来。”那女人沿着同条路走，但使她沮丧的是，风把所有的羽毛都吹走了。经过几个小时的搜寻，她回来了，手里只拿着三根。“你看，”老圣人说，“把它们放下很容易，但又不可能弄回来。八卦也是如此。传播谣言并不需要太多时间，而一旦你这样做了，就永远无法完全消除错误。”

感悟:

俗话说“三人成虎”“众口铄金”“人言可畏”，指的是利刃割体痕易合，恶语伤人恨难消。因为当真相还在穿鞋的时候，谣言已经跑遍了全城。柏拉图说“没有经过思考的生活是不值得过的。”那么，没有经过流言洗礼的生活也是不值得过的。你就是你，别听谣言四起；你只管大大方方把流言留给市井小人，走自己的路，让别人去说吧！

The Gossiper

         A woman repeated a bit of gossip about a neighbor. Within a few days the whole community knew the story. The person it concerned was deeply hurt and offended. Later, the woman responsible for spreading the rumor learned that it was completely untrue. She was very sorry and went to a wise old sage to find out what she could do to repair the damage. “Go to the marketplace.” he said, “and purchase a chicken, and have it killed. Then on your way home, pluck its feathers and drop them one by one along the road.” Although surprised by this advice, the woman did what she was told.

The next day the wise man said, “Now, go and collect all those feathers you dropped yesterday and bring them back to me.” The woman followed the same road, but to her dismay the wind had blown all the feathers away. After searching for hours, she returned with only three in her hand. “You see,” said the old sage, “it’s easy to drop them, but it’s impossible to get them back. So it is with gossip. It doesn’t take much to spread a rumor, but once you do, you can never completely undo the wrong.”

Insight:

As the saying goes, “A flock of three vicious men become tigers”, “voices in one tune could melt down gold”, “evil words are potentially fatal”, all refer to the blade cut of body marks easy to heal, malicious words’ inner ruins hard to vanish. Because before the truth is still wearing shoes, rumors have spread all over the city. Plato once said, “A life without thinking is not worth living,” as is a life without gossip . You are what you are, turn a deaf ear to rumors with broad mind to leave gossip to the street villain. Go your own way, whatever they are!!
