Nowadays, shopping online has become very popular! Sure, it's very convenient, but we still can go to the supermarket from time to time. Cuz as far as I see it, strolling about the supermarket is another way of relaxing.
今天我们聊聊逛超市那些事儿。
首先，
我们去超市前，
最好能有个准备，
比如列个清单.

进去以后发现
不但货物琳琅满目，
而且很整齐。
那你就感慨一下呗！

各位可以自己留意其它区域的英文。

在买东西的时候，
我们除了看品牌，
最重要的是看保质期对吧？
Don't forget to check the expiration date.
In the states,
usually there is a 'best before' date
or
'use by' date
which means you should finish using that item before that date.
如果买了蔬菜和水果，
别忘了去称重啊。
We need to weigh the fresh produce.
有时候东西找不到，
你就要求助营业员！
I need to ask a shop assistant.

我们要买单了。

Some of us might say to ourselves,

Today, when I was making lunch, I realized that we were out of some kitchen supplies, like seasoning, milk, etc. So we decided to go to the supermarket this afternoon to stock up on some supplies.
Fortunately, the supermarket is not far from our place. So we drove there, since the parking spots are easy to find in the early afternoon.
My wife is very methodical. She likes to making shopping lists before going to the supermarket. I think it's a good habit to have because it helps make our shopping more efficient.
Once we arrived at the supermarket, we first grabbed a shopping cart. Then we made our way through each of the sections. We bought milk in the dairy section, some beef in the meat section, a pack of dumplings in the frozen food section, some toast from the bakery, and I got my favorite roast chicken from the deli.
My main jobs during our supermarket excursions are pushing the cart and checking the expiration dates of packaged foods.
