巴赫牵手 展望未来

12月4日，宁波市海曙赫威斯学校的姐妹学校美国巴斯图学校校长Shane Foster访问我校，与戚校长、刘校长会面，为在巴赫杯双语朗诵比赛中获奖的学生颁奖，并给全校同学带来一段关于美国巴斯图学校特色课程的介绍。

On 4th December, Shane Foster, the President from Barstow school visited Ningbo Haishu Hanvos School, met with principal Qi and vice principal Liu. President Shane also scheduled to present awards to the students who won the prize in the Barstow-Hanvos Bilingual Recitation Contest, and give a speech about characteristic courses of Barstow school in the United States.

双方校长首先进行了教育研讨会，介绍了各自学校近一年来的发展情况，并就学术交流、课程共建、学生互访和研学旅行等方面做了详细的规划和探讨，双方校长对未来两校互通共学、合作共赢充满信心。

The presidents of two schools first held an education seminar, each of them introduced the development of their schools in the past year, and made detailed planning on how to deepen the cooperation between the two schools, especially in academic exchanges, curriculum construction, students visiting and summer school. The presidents of the two schools are confident of further cooperation in the future.

赫威斯学校从2015年办学至今，每年坚持举办巴赫杯双语朗诵比赛，这也是两校合作的特色项目。此次Shane校长到访，特地为上周举行的“创想科技”巴赫杯双语朗诵比赛的获奖学生颁奖。孩子们接到Shane校长的奖状，脸上洋溢着幸福的笑容，这样难忘的经历更激励他们学好英语，走出国门，未来成为双语能力并重的国际化人才。

Since 2015, Hanvos school has been holding the Barstow-Hanvos Bilingual Recitation Contest every year, which is also a characteristic project between the two schools. President Shane presented awards to the winning students of the contest held last week. The students received the certificate from principal Shane, and their faces were full of happiness, which also encouraged them to learn English well and go abroad.

Shane校长此次还带来了美国巴斯图学校的学生写给我校学生的信，美国的小朋友们书写认真，构图精美，字里行间传递着浓浓的情谊。作为回礼，我校也将在外教的组织下，让各班同学们写信给美国的小朋友，以这种复古的方式传达问候、缔结友谊。

Sweet Memories

President Shane also brought letters wrote by the students from Barstow school to the students of our school. The children in the United States wrote letters carefully and put on beautiful pictures, we can feel the strong friendship between the words and lines. One good turn deserves another, Hanvos school students will also write letters back to children in the U.S. to form good friendship in this retro way.

夏季访学 Summer School

随后，Shane校长向我校学生展示了巴斯图学校的宣传片，并简单介绍了即将在明年暑假开展的夏季访学活动。届时，巴斯图学校将会准备关于STEAM的夏令营，让学生们有机会探访巴斯图校园、动手制作机器人、体验社区义工项目、品尝异国食物等等。聆听着Shane校长的介绍，同学们都兴奋不已，按捺不住激动的心情，恨不得立刻飞往美国领略一番。

Later, President Shane showed our students the promotional video of Barstow school, and briefly introduced the summer school program in next summer vacation. At that time, Barstow school will prepare a summer camp about STEAM courses for our students, they can visit Barstow School, make robots, experience community volunteer projects, taste foreign food and so on. The students listened to President Shane's introduction and were very excited. They could not bear the excitement and wanted to fly to the United States for a taste at the next moment.
