A new trend has swept through Zhejiang University's campus, combining the energy of night running with the nostalgic beats of popular music. Recently, the university’s sports field resonated with the lively tunes of Fenghuang Chuanqi, a Chinese music duo, renowned for their hits like 'The Most Dazzling Ethnic Style,' 'Above the Moon,' and 'Lotus Pond Moonlight,' much-loved by square dance enthusiasts.

都会播放适合跑步听的歌曲

为大家提供共同跑步打卡的氛围

还会不定期发放打卡小奖励

The initiative, led by the Zhejiang University's Department of Public Sports and Art, aims to encourage students to participate in regular physical activity while fostering a vibrant campus culture.

The event takes place every Wednesday evening at the Zijin'gang Campus East Sports Field, contingent upon weather conditions and exam schedules. The organizers curate a playlist of run-friendly songs, enhancing the night jogging experience and fostering a sense of community among participants. Additionally, the department hosts special song request events, inviting students to contribute to the playlist via the university’s WeChat public account.
