“做头发”千万别说成“make hair”，差太远了！

有些朋友喜欢烫发，有些喜欢漂染，大家知道这些在英语中如何表达吗？今天，普特君就来跟大家分享一些关于“美发”的实用表达。

做头发用“do”还是“make”？

答案是do.

一般来说，在表示“做”的时候，“make”更倾向于结果，表示“制造出；生产出”，以下场景比较常用：食物、金钱、或者一些手工等等。

make/cook breakfast 做早餐

make money 赚钱

但英文中确实有“do breakfast”这个表达，比如会有老外问你：Do you do breakfast？这里其实不是问你做早饭吗，而是问“你一般吃早餐吗？”表示经常性、习惯性的动作。

我周天一般不吃早餐。

如果表达一次性的动作，直接说“have breakfast”就好了。

而“do”在表示“做”的时候，更注重于动作本身。常用于以下场景：做作业、做家务、做头发等。

Let me do your hair.

让我来给你做头发。

I do her hair, and it has to be just so.

我必须得按她的要求为她做头发。

同样的道理，“我剪头发了”就应该说：I got/had my hair cut. 或者也可以用名词“haircut”来表示：have/get a haircut.

“简单修一下”怎么说？

我该理发了。

His hair needs a trim.

他该理发了。

trim也可作为动词使用：

My friend trims my hair every eight weeks.

我朋友每8个星期为我修剪一次头发。

“洗头”怎么说？

很多朋友，有时候可能只是去理发店洗个头发，可以直接说：

I need a shampoo.

我要洗头发。

染发

很多女孩子为了更加时尚或好看经常会把自己的头发染成各种颜色，给人眼前一亮的感觉。“染发”英文可以这样说：

dye one’s hair

have my hair dyed

dye：v. 给…染色;染

If you dye something such as hair or cloth, you change its colour by soaking it in a special liquid.

I want to dye my hair.

have a tint 染发

tint：v&n. 染发

an artificial colour used to change the colour of your hair; the act of colouring the hair with a tint

挑染

说到“染发”，就不得不说“挑染”这个词了，挑染会让头发更有吸引力，也更加灵动特别。“挑染”英语怎么说呢？

v. 挑染（将部分头发染成浅色）

烫发

再来说说“烫发”，你更喜欢小卷还是大卷呢？烫发一直都很流行，男女不限，老少皆宜。“烫发”英语怎么说呢？

If you have a perm, your hair is curled and treated with chemicals so that it stays curly for several months.

have a perm/have your hair permed 烫发

She had her hair permed.

她烫了发。

我要烫头发。

“烫发”还可以用“permanent”这个单词，这个单词最常见的意思是“长久的，永久的”，但也可以表示“烫发”哦：
