interesting 和 interested一个修饰物一个修饰人吗？错了！| 语法解密

最近有学生问我一个问题：

interesting 和 interested 如何区分？是不是一个修饰人、一个修饰物？

这其实是一种非常不精确的区分方法，因为interesting 和 interested 既可以修饰人、也可以修饰物。注意辨析：

an interesting person

一个有趣的人

an interested person

一个饶有兴致的人

所以还得从含义入手。

interesting 表示“令人感兴趣的”，interested 表示“某人自己本身（对某事物）感兴趣”。

另外，interesting 一般做定语放在名词前面，比如：

an interesting book

an interesting movie

an interesting topic

…

而 interested 除了可以做定语修饰名词（一般是人），更多的情况是作为主语为人的表语，比如：

I am interested.

我感兴趣

而且通常后面会带出对象，即“对…感兴趣的”，具体结构：be interested in…，比如：

I am interested in the topic.

我对这个话题感兴趣。

另外， in 后面还可以接动名词，比如：

He is interested in collecting bottle caps .

他对收集瓶盖感兴趣。
