put yourself in my shoes字面意思是“把你的脚放进我的鞋子里”，可以理解为“站在我的角度考虑问题”，“设身处地替我想想”。

B: It's my fault, I shouldn't be fired for other people's business. I promise I will make a lot of money to keep you and our kids in the future.

是我的错，我不应该因为别人的事被辞退，我发誓，我以后会好好赚钱养你和我们的孩子。
