签证指南

    本文大部分内容转自小木虫论坛

面签过4周之后还没有消息，可以分别向面签的使领馆（电邮网上可以查到）和Student/ExchangeVisitor Visa Center（[e-mail] ）发电邮咨询一下结果，还可以向华盛顿DOS查询check状态。

另外，国内有一个网站，专门给大家提供参加面签的人的check时间和状态，大家都是自己登记，将各人的情况如：面签时间，签证类型，专业，check的时间，clear的时间等信息录入上去，以供后来人参考的。所以各位还可以去http://www.checkee.info/查看其他筒子们的签证情况以及到底check时间进行到哪一天了；尽管大家情况各不相同，但是这个网站还是可以客观提供一些依据。

DOS电话查询方法：

号码及拨打方式如下：
001-202-663-1225
听到有人说话，拨1
听到另一个人说，拨0 （注意，以前要拨6，现在不需要了）
等待几分钟
我等了大概10分钟（我在晚上21：00以后拨打）
听到声音，
接通，说“hello”
对方问护照号“passport number”
告诉她
对方输入后确认一遍，无误
等待30秒
对方问你的姓“surname”
回答她怎么拼写的
对方问你的名“first name”
回答她怎么拼写的

如果听不清，就问“You mean  my visaapplication is pending?”
得到对方肯定回答。
说“Thank you”
对方说“you are welcome”
