Further to our previous telecom please beinformed that today at around 14:30 vessel stopped her voyage, in order toperform maneuvering test.
The first attempt was DEAD SLOW ASTERN with26kg/cm2 pressure of starting air and ahead movement of the vessel with 5,9knots. The engine started normally and easy.
Further attempts performed at both directionsbut observed that during the astern starting of the engine (even wassuccessfully) the revolutions dropped around 6 rpm from 18~22rpm and thestarting achieved but with difficulty.
During two starting attempts at ASTERN directionthe engine did not started even after the repeated starting (3 times). It mustbe mentioned that at both times the starting air pressure was 18~19 kg/cm2. Theengine was rotated, the fuel index activated normally, but the engine couldn'tstart.
After that we performed further attempts and allof them were successful.
During the starting sequence the main startingvalve activated for 5 secs. It is suspected that during the failed asterncommands, maybe the main starting valve was opened for less than 5 seconds orthe fuel injection did not activated.
Also please be informed that the issue with the'Local Forced Command Takeover' alarm has not activated again afterthe rubber that inserted between the cables and the metal base of the controldial. Furthermore the low insulation has not appeared again on the ECUA/B(500kohm).
The only indication of malfunction that we haveso far is only the electrical noise on the CCU4 which is steady at 15 units.For that reason the previous days we have performed re- tightening andrepairing of the insulation at the cabling wherever was necessary (all junctionboxes opened and inspected). However the electrical noise is still existing.
