巧做英语时态、语态题四种方法

一、“找标法”（寻找时间标志词）

例题1、【2013湖南卷27】----Have you heard about the recent election?

                 -----Sure, it               the only thing on the news for the last three  days.

             A. would be     B. is      

            C. has been        D. will be

【解析】C    根据句中标志词for the last three days 可知应用现在完成时态，选C

例题2、【2013陕西卷11】 On Monday mornings it usually         me an hour to drive to work although the  actual distance is only 20 miles.

     A. takes         B. is  taking    

     C. took          D. will take

【解析】A   根据句中标志词 on Monday mornings  和 usually可以判断应用一般现在时态。故选A

例题3、 【2013北京卷23】Shakespeare’s play Hamlet             into at least

ten different films over the past years.

A. had been made      B. was made        

C. has been made      D. would be made

 

【解析】C  根据句中标志词over the past years可知应用现在完成时态，故选C

• 动词的时态一般都有其相应的时间状语，熟记下列八种常用时态所对应的时间状语。

   (1)一般现在时：often, always, usually, seldom, now, every day等。

   (2)一般过去时：then, yesterday, last week, after that, ago等。

   (3)现在进行时：now, right now, at preent, at this moment, these days等。

   (4)过去进行时：then, at that time, at this time yesterday等。

(5)现在完成时：recently, lately, up to/till now,So far, in the past/last few months/years，for +一段时间， since+一点时间等。

(6)过去完成时：before, by the end of last month/years…等。

(7)一般将来时：tomorrow, today, in an hour, next week/month…,in the coming /following few weeks等。

(8)一过去将来时：the following month, the next week

命题角度与对策：

       高考测试动词时态须与句中时间状语一致时，常在题干中加入具体情境，已测试考生对动词时态知识的实际应用能力。敏锐捕捉时间标志词，并结合具体的语境，选择出正确的动词时态，是解决此类问题的良策。

• 二、呼应法（主从句时态呼应）

    结合所给题干是主从复合句，可根据主从句时态呼应的原则选出正确的时态。

例题1、【2013全国新课标卷24】 If  we   now to protect the environment, we’ll live to regret it.

  A. hadn’t acted               B. haven’t acted

  C. don’t act                     D. won’t act

【解析】C  本题考查条件状语从句的“主将从现”，同时从句中有明显时间标志“ now”,故用一般现在时。

• 例题2、【2012四川卷11】They are living with their parents for the moment because their own house             .

  A. is being rebuilt            B. has been rebuilt

  C. is rebuilt                     D. has rebuilt

【解析】A  本题考查动词的时态和语态。主句用了are living ，为现在进行时，根据句意可知，从句也应该用现在进行时，且house与动词rebuilt之间为被动关系，故使用现在进行时的被动语态。句意为：我们现在暂时和父母一起居住，因为他们自己的房子正在重建。

• 命题角度与对策：

   近年来高考考查主从句的时态呼应时，常放在真实的并且符合实际的语境中进行考查。在根据时态呼应原则解题时，要把握好以下几点：

  (1)在时间、条件等状语从句中，用一般现在时表示一般将来时，一般过去时表示过去将来时，用现在完成时表示将来完成时。

  (2)正确认定主句动词与从句动词两个动作发生的时间，并认真体会命题者所给出的语境。

3）解答宾语从句与主句时态呼应题时，考生应熟记以下规则：主句为现在时，则从句动词可根据需要使用任何时态；主句动词为过去时，则从句动词须用恰当的过去的某种时态（表示客观真理时使用一般现在时）。

• 三、语境法（仔细体会语境）

  （例题1）【2013湖南卷34】---I don’t understand why you didn’t go to the lecture yesterday afternoon.

   ----I’m  so sorry. But I          my homework.

  A. had done            B. was doing

 C. would do             D. am doing

【解析】B   根据语境，对话中的第二个人昨天下午没去听课，而是在做作业，故用过去进行时态，表示过去一段时间内在持续发生的动作。

（例题2）【2013北京卷28】 Hurry up! Mark and Carl            us.

     A. expect                        B. are expecting

     C. have expected           D. will expect

【解析】B  根据语境Hurry up！可知， Mark 和Carl 正在等我们。故选B，使用现在进行时。

（例题3）【2012重庆卷22】---Kavin, you look worried. Anything wrong?

---- well ,I          a test and I’m waiting for the result .

A. Will take                   B. took

C. Had taken                D. take

【解析】B.结合对话情境可知，答语的后半句用了现在进行时，从而可知，现在Kavin正在等待测试的成绩，参加测试为一个过去的动作，所以应该使用一般过去时态。

• 四、搭配法

    英语中有很多固定搭配或特殊句式，使用的动词时态非常固定。如果题干构成某种固定搭配或特殊句式，则根据规则选用需要的时态，做到瞻前顾后巧搭配。

（例题1）【2013陕西卷17】Jim        a late night film at home when, right in the middle of a thrilling scene, the television went blank.

A. watched                   B. had watched

C. was watching           D. would be watching

 

【解析】C. 此处固定句型： was/were doing

sth. when…

（例题2）【2012湖南卷25】 close the door of fear behind you, and you        the door of faith open before you.

A. saw                 B. have seen

C. will see           D. are seeing

【解析】C. 本题可使用“搭配法”解题。句意为“关上你身后的惧怕之门，你就会看到信心之门在你面前敞开着。”  “祈使句（或名词词组）+and（或 or)+简单句 ”是并列句的一种固定句式，and(或or）后的简单句通常用将来时或用情态动词表示将来。
