最近肩部一直有些不适，9号早晨，突然颈部转动受限，感觉一动就牵扯到侧面的筋，疼痛无比，这感觉和这阵子肩部不适很相似，但更剧烈。肩颈不适，我首先想到的是前一天熬夜，可能受寒了，在家里翻翻，决定用小建中合剂+葛根水，就是个桂枝葛根汤的意思，驱寒升津舒筋的思路，觉得自己还挺机智的。
I have had something wrong with my
shoulders. On the morning of the 9th, the cervical region hurt a lot
and I could not even move my neck, feeling the side sinews hurt while moving.
It was similar to the shoulder trouble I had recently, but it was much more
painful. The first idea came to me was that I might have caught a cold when I stayed
up overnight. I checked my stock and decided to use Xiaojianzhong mixture + radix
puerariae soup, which was cassia twig and radix puerariae soup, aiming at
dissipating cold, upraising the fluid and relaxing sinews. I thought I found
the right way.
然而，两顿喝下去，没有一点儿好转的迹象，晚上睡下去，感觉微微动下头都疼得要命，10号早晨起床的时候，疼痛更甚，每一个转侧都很艰难。得，又用错了呗！那种感觉难以言喻，异常悲催。
However, after having the soup twice, there
was nothing better at all. When I was lying in bed, moving my head a little bit
caused a lot of pain. As I got up on the morning of the10th, I felt
much worse, with much difficulty in turning my head. Well, I was wrong again!
It was so miserable that I could hardly describe my feeling.
好吧，重新捋一下我的症状。
Well, I had to sort out my symptoms one
more time.
1. 熬夜-耗费肝血。
2. 总是口渴-缺少津液。
3. 近几日入睡难-阳不入阴。
4. 尝试拉伸运动后不缓解甚至加重-耗费气血。
5. 大便三日未行-缺少津液、肝气失司。
…
1. Staying up overnight –
consuming a lot of liver blood
2. Being thirsty all the time –
lacking in fluid
3. Hard to fall asleep – Yang
failed to integrate with yin
4. Stretching movements did not alleviate
and even worsened the symptoms - consuming qi and blood
5. No bowel movements for three days – lacking in fluid and liver qi did not work well
想到半个月前我曾遇到过一位中医，他认为我肩部不适的原因在于：气血不足，血虚多于气虚，因而筋脉失养。这个诊断对我颇有启迪。
Thinking of what the TCM doctor, whom I met
half a month ago, said that the reason caused my shoulder problems might be:
Because of dual deficiency of qi and blood while blood deficiency is worse than
qi deficiency, sinew dystrophy happens. This diagnosis enlightened me.
病机应当还是在于肝血不足，筋脉失养。那次熬大夜充当了导火索。
The mechanism of the disease was still
liver blood deficiency which led to sinew dystrophy. Staying up overnight was
the fuse.
我需要的药，首先要补足肝血，适当补气，还要行血，通达。
I need some medication which can replenish
liver blood, tonify certain amount of qi and enhancing qi and blood movement.
然后我就想到了乌鸡白凤丸。
Then, Wuji Baifeng pills came to my mind.
对了证，效果来得真的很快。
I found the right medication for the
syndrome and it came into effect very soon.
11号上午开始吃乌鸡白凤丸，感觉颈部开始疼痛减轻，一日两次服药，到12日，颈部基本就转动自如了。
I started to take Wuji Baifeng pills on the
morning of the 11th and the pain in the cervical region was alleviated,
so I took it twice a day and my neck could move as usual on the 12th.
不过，13日一天的效果就开始不那么显著，颈部左侧始终有些涩涩的感觉，残留着些微微的酸疼。
However, I stopped feeling better on the 13thand I could feel a bit sore on the left side of my neck, which was like
something unsmooth.
今天早上起床感觉和昨天差不多，没有进展了，我不服。
This morning, I continued to feel no
progress, just like yesterday. I was not happy!
我想，乌鸡白凤丸终究是挺滞腻的，肝胆经局部多多少少会有些瘀滞，于是加了点料：乌鸡白凤丸+ 加味逍遥丸。
I thought that Wuji Baifeng pills might
have made fluid stagnant in some areas of liver meridian and gallbladder
meridian, so I added one more medication: Wuji Baifeng pills + Modified Xiaoyao
pills.
就早上空腹服用了一次，效果杠杠的。10点多出去溜达的时候，脖子完全自由了！一点儿也不疼了！
I had it this morning and it was great! When
I went out at about 10, my neck was completely free! The sore disappeared!
不就熬个夜嘛！！！想当年……

一声长叹。岁月饶过谁！
Sighing. Age can wither me!
