今天就来跟大家说一个与“已成往事，过眼云烟”有关的短语---water under the bridge，就像桥下那流淌而过的河水一般，过去无法重来，一切都已成为往事。

People use the idiom 'water under the bridge' to express that a past event cannot be changed.

You can't control the natural flow of water,
你无法改变自然流动的水，
just as you can't go back and change the course of a past event.
就如你无法回到过去，亦或是改变历史发展进程。
