The Sacred Twenty-Eight were, according to the author of the Pure-Blood Directory (widely believed to have been Cantankerus Nott), the twenty-eight British families that were still "truly pure-blood" by the 1930s.

纯血二十八家 是指《纯血统名录》一书的作者（普遍认为是坎坦克卢斯·诺特）所认定的、直到20世纪30年代仍旧保持“真正纯血统”的二十八个英国巫师家族。

The Sacred Twenty-Eight comprised the families of:

Abbott，Avery，Black，Bulstrode，Burke，Carrow，Crouch，Fawley，Flint，Gaunt，Greengrass，Lestrange，Longbottom，Macmillan，Malfoy，Nott，Ollivander，Parkinson，Prewett，Rosier，Rowle，Selwyn，Shacklebolt，Shafiq，Slughorn，Travers，Weasley，Yaxley

这二十八个家族包括：

1.Interestingly, the Ollivander family is considered one of the Sacred Twenty-Eight, despite Garrick Ollivander's mother being Muggle-born prior to the book's publication. It is possible, however, that the Directory's author was unaware of or overlooked this for other reasons.

有意思的是，奥利凡德家族被认为是“纯血二十八家”之一，但是这个家族的一个已知的麻瓜出身的巫师加瑞克·奥利凡德的母亲已经在这本名录出版前降生了。有可能是《名录》的作者并不知道这件事的存在，或者是这个作者决定不把加里克当成这个家族的一份子。

2.The Potter family was excluded from the list because it is also a common Muggle surname, and that Henry Potter also took an outspoken pro-Muggle view during his time.

3.Some families (most famously the Weasley family) spoke out against the list in spite of their inclusion, declaring that they certainly had muggle ancestry and were not ashamed of it. The families who were proud of being included had been labelled them "blood traitors" .
