18. THE YANGQIAO CHANNEL

This channel arises from the medial aspect of the heel. Passing through the external malleolus, it runs upward along the lateral aspect of the thigh and the lateral posterior aspect of the hyperchondriac region and then reaches the shoulder. Further asending through the neck and the corner of the mouth,it enters the inner canthus where it meets the Yinqiao channel. Then it runs along the Urinary Bladder channel to the forehead and meets the Gall Bladder channel at Fengchi (G. B. 20).
