A survey ofthousands of Britons found that a healthy amount of sleep was thestrongest indicator of living well.

Researchers asked8,250 people questions about 60 different aspects of their lives,including how they behaved and felt. The same panel will bequestioned every six months, allowing researchers to trace theeffects of lifestyle on how Britons feel.

Researchers foundthe average Briton had a “livingwell score” of around 62 out of 100, with those livingthe best defined as the 20 per cent of the population with thelargest number of points, scoring between 72 and92.
