"The Casual Vacancy," the latest novel from "Harry Potter" scribe J.K. Rowling, is going to be heading to the small screen. BBC has announced that the [w]mystery[/w] novel will be adapted into a miniseries airing on the network in 2014.《哈利波特》作者JK罗琳的新作《偶发空缺》即将被搬上小荧幕。BBC台宣布,将把这部悬疑小说改编成迷你剧,于2014年播出。
In a statement, BBC announced that Rowling will "collaborate closely with the project," just like she did with the "Harry Potter" films. "The number and length of the episodes to be decided once the creative [w]adaptation[/w] process has formally begun," the statement reads.BBC台在声明中表示罗琳将紧密参与此次改编,就如同她与《哈利波特》系列电影一样。“集数和片长将在创意改编过程开始后决定。”
