HOW TO HYPNOTIZE YOUR SELF
·choose a quiet time and a relaxing place; you can choose some soothing music to listen to if you like
·set a timer to gently go off in 10 to 20 minutes time
·make sure you won’t be disturbed. The amount of time you want to spend on your self hypnosis is up to you. Most people prefer being in a trance for about 15 minutes and you need to also allot time to getting in and out of a trance too
·get yourself into a comfortable position; either seated or in a lying position
·start concentrating on relaxing each area of your body; your head, neck, shoulders, torso, arms, hands, legs and feet
·close your eyes and focus on deep inhaling and exhaling
·relax your entire body and stare at one specific spot like a clock on the wall
·you will begin to feel your body becoming heavy
·as you breathe deeply, allow feelings of relaxation to deepen
·as you go into a deeper trance, start counting backwards from 10 to 1
·you will be in a deep trance by now and your mind is totally at peace
·when you reach 1, your eyes will open and you will awaken from your trance refreshed
·don’t get up suddenly – take your time and tell yourself to wake up to put your mind back into a conscious state
·you will now be brought back to a state of reality
