Your Majesties,
Your Royal Highnesses,
Distinguished Guests,
Ladies and Gentlemen,
After 17 unforgettable days, we are indebted to so many tonight. The Organising Committee, well supported by the public authorities, did a superb job.Thank you, Lord Coe and your great LOCOG team! We will never forget the smiles, the kindness and the support of the wonderful volunteers, the much-needed heroes of these Games.You, the spectators and the public,provided the soundtrack for these Games. Your enthusiastic cheers energised the competitors and brought a festive spirit to every Olympic venue.
You have shown the world the best of British hospitality.I know that generosity of spirit will continue as we marvel at the dedication and talent of the wonderful Paralympic athletes. Dear Athletes, you have earned the respect and admiration of a global audience and you have written a new chapter of Olympic history that began in Ancient Olympia 3,000 years ago.
Through your commitment to fair play, your respect for opponents, and your grace in defeat as well as in victory, you have earned the right to be called Olympians.
These were happy and glorious Games!
The legacy of the Games of the XXX Olympiad will become clear in many ways.
Concrete improvements in infrastructure will benefit the host nation for years to come. The human legacy will reach every region of the world. Many young people will be inspired to take up a sport or to pursue their dreams.
And now, in accordance with tradition, I declare the Games of the XXX Olympiad closed and call on the youth of the world to assemble four years from now in Rio de Janeiro to celebrate the Games of the XXXI Olympiad.

度过难忘的17天后，今晚我们无限感激。
伦敦奥组委在公共机构的大力支持下，完成了出色的工作。感谢你，克莉丝公爵，伟大的伦敦奥组委团队。我们将永远不会忘记伟大志愿者们的笑容、善良和支持。他们是这届奥运会真正需要的英雄。
你们公众和公共群体为本届奥运会提供了最佳的声道，为了参赛者热情呐喊，为参赛者提供了力量，为每一个场馆带来了节日般的气氛。你们向世界展示了英国人民热情好客的最佳一面，我知道慷慨的精神将持续下去，特别是当我们为残奥体育健儿赞叹和助威时。
亲爱的运动员们，你们赢得了全球观众的尊重和钦佩，你们为奥运会历史书写了新的篇章，而这段历史开始于三千多年前的古代奥运会。通过你们对公平竞赛的承诺，对于对手的尊重和在失败和胜利中展现的风度，你们有权将自己成为奥林匹克人。

第三十届夏季奥运会的遗产将体现在各个方面，基础设施的建设中使用的低碳材料是一个明显的例子。而奥运会的人类遗产将延伸至世界的各个角落，很多年轻人将从此开始从事体育运动，追求他们的梦想。
现在我宣布，第三十届夏季奥运会闭幕，同时邀请全世界的年轻人，四年后里约热内卢第三十一届夏季奥运会再见。
