第二集《盲目的银行家》（The Blind Banker），SHERLOCK和WATSON调查一名银行职员和一名新闻记者的神秘“自杀”案件，在蛛丝马迹中发现所有可疑事件与从事走私古董活动的黑莲帮有关。SHERLOCK依旧孤傲乖僻，WATSON则处事圆滑，但两人迥异的个性反而给他们的合作带来更多火花……

SERGEANT: We're obviously looking at a suicide.It does seem the only explanation of all the facts.

left-handed，左撇子；contortion，扭弯、扭歪；coffee mug handle，咖啡杯柄。handle作动词是“处理、解决”，作名词是“手柄、把手”；Power socket，电源插座；habitually，习惯性地；cover，可表示“覆盖，代替”，作及物动词还可表示“包括、报导、涉及”，
如：His studies covered a wide field.他的研究项目涉及的范围很广。
Two reporters were sent to cover the war.派去两名记者采访有关战事的新闻。
might as well不妨、倒不如、还是……的好，如：Since I get asked this question all the time, I might as well answer it publicly. 既然我经常被问到这样一个问题，我倒不如公开地回答大家。
