The sound of silence

这首歌是1967年美国电影《毕业生》的主题曲，也是20世纪60年代民歌二人组Paul Simon & Garfunkel的成名之作。歌曲创作于1962年，Paul Simon曾回忆说，当时他是在关了灯的黑暗浴室里写下了第一句歌词：“Hello darkness, my old friend, I've come to talk with you again.” 那个年代的美国，可谓多事之秋。对内，反种族歧视民权意识高涨；对外背负著“越战”的骂名。然内忧外患之际，美国总统、精神领袖约翰·肯尼迪(John F.Kennedy)遇刺身亡，而由黑人人权领袖马丁·路德·金（Martin Luther King Jr.)所领导的反暴力反种族歧视正如火如荼的展开，且国内反越战呼声居高不下。所以说《The Sound Of Silence》（寂静之声）这首发人深省的歌，折射的就是动荡的60年代。可惜的是这样一首针砭时弊的好歌，于1964年发行时，却得不到青睐，直至1967年随电影《毕业生》而浴火重生，成为家喻户晓的经典之作。

一首暴露年龄的歌，我应该是学生时代看的《毕业生》。估计现在看过这部电影的人很少了吧，连我都有点记忆模糊，但歌曲旋律响起还是会唤起一些记忆。前些天无意听到来自1965年出生的比利时女歌手Dana Winner的女声版，天籁之音又勾起我对电影及主题曲的回忆！PS:还有一版是Simon & Garfunkel二人老年时再度联手现场合唱的视频，感兴趣的可以搜来听听。
