Unit 10

Three years ago, Ben came to live in China with his parents. Before then, he lived in England and life was very different.

When he was in England, Ben live in a small village in the countryside. I t had only two shops and most of the people worked on farms. Ben's village shcool was very smallto. There weere only 150 pupils. His home was nearby so he walked to schooll every day. 

But now, Ben lives in a big city. The city has many people, cars and tall buildings. In the city ,Ben goes to a very big school. It has more than 1000 pupils. His home is far awway, so every day he takes the bus. On the bus, he sees people going to work in modern office buildings and department stores.

Bn loves the city. There are many things to do and he has lots of friends. But sometimes he misses the quiet life of his Inglish village.

3年前，笨和他的父母来到中国居住，在那以前，他住在英国，生活很不一样。

在英国时，不能住在农村的一个小村庄里，那里只有两间商店，大多数人在农场工作，笨的乡村学校也很小，只有150个学生，他的家离学校很近，所以她每天走路上学。

但是现在笨在一个大城市，城市里有很多人汽车以及高大的建筑，在城里，但一去一间很大的学校上学学校里有1000多名学生，他的家离学校很远，所以她每天乘公共汽车去学校，他在公共汽车上，他看见有很多现代化的办公室大楼以及百货公司工作的人员。

不太喜欢这个城市，那里有很多事情可以做，而且他有很多朋友，但是他有时想念他在英国农村里的宁静生活。
