The Republic of Armenia亚美尼亚共和国
亚美尼亚共和国(亚美尼亚语:Հայաստանի Հանրապետություն),简称亚美尼亚,位于亚洲与欧洲交界处的外高加索南部的内陆国。西接土耳其,南接伊朗,北临格鲁吉亚,东临阿塞拜疆,国土面积为2.97万平方千米。亚美尼亚全国划分为10个州和1个州级市,首都为埃里温。截至2022年5月,亚美尼亚人口298.69万。亚美尼亚族占93.3%,其他有俄罗斯人、乌克兰人、库尔德人、亚述人、希腊人等。
公元前5世纪亚美尼亚族基本形成,公元前331年建立亚美尼亚王国,公元301年,亚美尼亚国王梯里达底三世定基督教为国教,使亚美尼亚成为世界上第一个基督教国家。16世纪中期被伊朗和奥斯曼帝国瓜分。1804至1828年,两次俄伊战争后,原伊朗占领的东亚美尼亚并入俄罗斯帝国。1920年1月29日,建立亚美尼亚苏维埃社会主义共和国。1922年3月,加入外高加索苏维埃社会主义联邦共和国,同年12月30日以该联邦成员国身份加入苏联。1936年12月5日,成为苏联加盟共和国之一。1990年8月23日,亚美尼亚通过独立宣言,改国名为“亚美尼亚共和国”。1991年9月21日,亚美尼亚举行全民公决,正式宣布独立。
亚美尼亚是一个内陆国家,大部分国民是信奉东正教的基督徒,但因为周围被伊斯兰教国家所包围着,再加上与邻国之间的国界争议问题,成为高加索地区动荡不安的火药库地带。2021年,亚美尼亚国内生产总值为139亿美元,同比增长5.7%,外贸额83.79亿美元,同比下降17.7%。
Armenia covers an area of 29,743 sq. km (11,484 sq mi) in Eurasia's South Caucasus region. It is a landlocked country.
As observed on the physical map of Armenia above, the topography of the country is very rugged and mountainous. Nearly the entire land is covered by the Lesser (or Little) Caucasus Mountains. The highest point is Mt. Aragats at 13,418 ft. (4,090m). A yellow triangle marks the highest point on the map.
Rivers flow fast down through the mountains, and although much of Armenia's land remains at or above 6,562 ft (2,000 m) at least 3% form the valleys of the Araks and Debet rivers.
Lake Sevan is the largest lake and it sits 6,000 ft, (2,000 m) above sea level. Significant rivers include the Aras, Debet and Razdan.
Provinces Of Armenia Map
Armenia (officially, the Republic of Armenia) is divided into 11 provinces (marzer, sing. marz). In alphabetical order, these provinces are: Aragatsotn, Ararat, Armavir, Geghark’unik’, Kotayk’, Lorri, Shirak, Syunik’, Tavush, Vayots’Dzor and Yerevan.  The Yerevan province has been granted special administrative status. The provinces are further subdivided into municipal communities.
Located at the center –west part of the country, along the Hrazdan River is, Yerevan – the capital and largest city of Armenia. It is also the political, cultural and economic center of Armenia.
Where Is Armenia?
Armenia is a landlocked country, located in the south of Caucasus mountain range (south eastern region of Europe or Western Asia) and facing the north western part of Asia. Armenia is situated in the Northern and Eastern hemispheres of the Earth.  It is bounded by Georgia in the north, Azerbaijan in the east, Iran in the southeast and Turkey in the west.

Official Name : Republic of Armenia (RA), short: Armenia
Flag
The flag is tricolor with three horizontal and equal alternating stripes of red, blue and Orange (from top to bottom). The correlation between the width and length of the flag is 1/2.
The Coat of Arms
The Coat of Arms of the Republic of Armenia is as follows: On a shield, positioned in the center, Mount Ararat is represented with Noah's Arch and the coats of arms of the four royal dynasties of the historical Armenia: from top to left - that of the Bargratunides, from top to right - that of the Arshakounides, from bottom to left - that of Artashesides, from bottom to right - that of the Rubenides. The shield is upheld by an eagle (on the left) and lion (on the right). There is a sword, as well as a branch of a tree, a bundle of spikes, a chain and a ribbon pictured below the shield. Golden is the main color of the Coat of Arms of the Republic of Armenia. The colors of the kingdoms of the historical Armenia are as follows: from top to left - red, from top to right - blue, from bottom to left - blue, from bottom to right - red, with orange-painted Mount Ararat positioned in the center on a shield. The foregoing colors emblematize the colors of the national flag of the Republic of Armenia.
The Anthem:
The Anthem of the Republic of Armenia was adopted on July 1, 1991, by the Supreme Soviet of the Republic of Armenia. It is based on the Anthem of the First Armenian Republic (1918-1920). RA Law on the “Anthem of the Republic of Armenia” was adopted on December 25, 2006. The Armenian national anthem is “Our Fatherland”; lyrics by Michael Nalbandian, music by Barsegh Kanachian.

Investment Policy
The main objectives of the state policy in the investment area in Armenia are the following: improvement of investment environment, improvement of legal framework and promotion of investments in the economy of the Republic of Armenia, including foreign direct investments (hereinafter FDI).
The main goal of Armenia's investment policy is to create a favorable investment and business environment, increase transparency of regulatory environment, reveal the country's competitive advantages, increase investment sizes, develop market infrastructure, create high-quality and high-paid jobs, develop human capital and, based on all these, provide sustainable economic growth and population welfare, which is in line with the priorities of Armenia Development Strategy 2014-2025. To achieve these goals, the Investment Policy concept of RA and the Timetable of Activities, adopted 8 October 2015, intend to provide solutions to the main objectives.
The Government of the Republic of Armenia will follow the principles of “Open Doors” policy, liberalization of investment activities, reservation of national and most favorable treatment of foreign investors, proper protection of investors and other advanced international practices.
The main legal act that regulates the investment sector in Armenia is the Law “On Foreign Investments”, adopted in 1994.
