Sung Wan-jong(???), the former head of Keangnam Enterprises told a local newspaper that he gave money to former presidential secretaries before he was found dead of apparent suicide.According to the Kyunghyang Shimun, Sung interviewed with them early yesterday.He told them that he gave Kim Ki-choon 100-thousand dollars back in 2006, when he was a close aide to Park Geun-hye, who was then a leading member of the Grand National Party.He also reportedly said he delivered 700 million won to Heo Tae-yeol(???) in 2007, when the former presidential secretary was helping Park prepare for her first presidential bid.Cheong Wa Dae Spokesman Min Kyung-wook(???) said the top office knows nothing of Sung's claims adding that reporters had not confirmed the accounts before releasing the story.Sung was suspected of embezzlement and fraud related to an energy project during the former Lee Myung-bak administration.Meanwhile, Sung's body has been transferred to his hometown of Seosan in South Chungcheong Province, where he will be buried next to his mother.■
