Britain’s severance from the European unx is “not an amicable divorce” and the government should begin negotiating exit terms “immediately” rather than waiting for David Cameron to leave office EU Commission President Jean Claude Juncker has said.
The Prime Minister will stand down in October after offering his resignation yesterday hours after Britain voted 52 to 48 in favour of leaving the European unx against his urging.
His most likely successor Boris Johnson said yesterday that there need not be any “haste” in negotiating the terms of Britain’s departure but Brussels has issued a distinctly different message warning that Brexit should be instigated as soon as possible to avoid prolonged uncertainty that could be damaging to markets and economic growth.
mike I have a great deal of sympathy for the remain voters but blaming old folks the Tories or Labour for this shambles is incorrect. The real villains are the likes of Juncker and Schulz who have taken the EU in entirely the wrong direction to satify their lust for political power. They are the people who's heads should roll.
The actions of Juncker over last few days are a perfect illustration of how nasty and dangerous he is. We need to get rid of these evil people to hasten reconciliation between the two sides.
thesickmanofeurope_com My guess is because Women are told that having regrets next day somehow invalidates bad decisions they made the previous day.
我猜是因为妇女们被告知第二天就后悔可以抵消前一天所做的糟糕决定。

ian My friends and colleagues in mainland Europe are a great bunch of friendly open minded and talented individuals. They don't feel snubbed by our preference for self-rule although it would have been a lot simpler had Westminster asked the British people first before ceding sovereignty to Brussels. Pay no heed to trolls who bad mouth Brexit and don't let them divide us with rubbish like "old folk have stitched up the young". We're all working toward a better world for young and old. Contrary to some of the negative propaganda our trade with Europe generates jobs on both sides of the channel. In fact many high end operations such as computer data centres have been moved from Britain into Mainland Europe where they provide fabulous career opportunities for European graduates. There is a lot of synergy and goodwill between us so please don't let the negative trolls sour the tremendous future which lies ahead for both Britain and Europe.
voiceofreason The more amicable the divorce the better it is for everyone all this vitriol and nastiness is of no use whatsoever.
离婚方式越和平,对所有人越好。 所有的讥讽和污秽没任何用。

GB An amicable divorce is only interesting for the UK. For self-preservation EU will have to get nasty with Britain. It has already started acting in this way actually.

OldAirman Why doesn't the UK do 'ol Junker a favour - repeal the 1972 act that brought it in to the EU in the first place immediately stop sending them any money and send back their convicts instead.
