03yet和still做副词的区别
yet和still都用来谈论一段时间以来那些已经（或还没）发生的事。
但是它们的意义和使用语境是有区别的：
yet主要用来指一个人等待和期待的事情，但到目前为止还没有发生过。
最常见于否定句和疑问句，一般在句子末尾：
（也可以放在主动词，或表语前，相对少见）
Have you assigned a day for the interviews yet?
你安排好面试的日子了吗？
I haven't thought about marriage yet.
我还没想过结婚。
We haven't come to a decision on the matter yet.
我们还没有就此事做出决定。
The child is not yet able to write.
这孩子还不会写字。
Come on. Aren't you ready yet?

Have you fed the cat yet?

yet用在肯定句，主要表达有待将来的事。
The past cannot be changed. The future is yet in your power.
过去是无法改变的。未来仍在你的掌控之中。
The cut-off date for registering is yet to be announced.
登记截止日期尚未公布。
The agendas for the next two meetings have yet to be worked out.
下两次会议的议程有待制定。
still主要用来指那些从过去开始一直持续到现在的事情。
最常见于肯定句和疑问句，一般位于句子中间（主动词，表语前）：
Does he still work here?
他还在这里工作？
He is still busy; he has not finished his work yet.
他还在忙，他的工作还没有完成。
I can't drive yet, I'm still learning.
我还不会开车，我还在学呢。
Those bananas aren't ripe yet - they're still green.
那些香蕉还没熟-它们还是绿色的。
那么为什么我们容易混淆它们？
是因为在谈论过去没有发生，到现在仍然没有发生的事时，一般用yet，但也可能出现用still的情况：
She hasn't arrived yet. = She still hasn't arrived.
她还没到。
但是请注意，即使这种情况，我们也能加以区别：
在句子中的位置：still否定之前，yet不放在否定之前。
I still can't decide what to do.
我还是不能决定该怎么办。
I can't decide what to do yet.
I can't yet decide what to do.
此外，大多数说英语的人会说，用still时说话人有不耐烦的情绪，而用yet则没有。
