英语热词：缺少行动的“空想时期” Idea debt

“思想的巨人，行动的矮子”说的是那些有各种宏大想法，却很少去实践的人。在英语(精品课)里，我们说一个人有很多ideas，但是都不付诸实践，于是他们就欠了这些ideas很多债，于是就有了idea debt这个说法。

Idea debt is when you spend too much time picturing what a project is going to be like, too much time thinking about how awesome it will be to have this thing done and in the world, too much time imagining how cool you will look, how in demand you’ll be, how much money you’ll make, and way too little time actually making the thing.

Idea debt指你花了太多时间想象某个项目进行的样子，想象着这个项目完成以后会有多么了不起，你自己会显得多牛，会被如何追捧，会赚多少钱，却根本没有花时间真正去实施这个项目。我们可以称之为“空想时期”。

The person who has many ideas with tons of lore and planning, but with little to no execution of those ideas into a tangible product is called an idea debtor.

有很多计划和想法，却没有把任何想法付诸实践做出产品的人被称为idea debtor(空想家)。
