A. 表示要求、命令等意义的句子叫做祈使句。祈使句一律用动词原形开头,句末加上感叹号或句号,句子用降调。如:

B: 祈使句的否定形式是在开头加Don't,如:

C. 祈使句的开头或结尾也可以加上please,以使句子的语气更加缓和、客气。如:

D. and的用法,一般表示和的意思,但在连接两个先后关联的动作时,不必翻译出来,如:
She stood up and went away.
Come and have some apples.
E. employee雇员=employ(雇用v.)+ee(名词后缀)组成;employer雇主(名词后缀er表示动作的发出者,名词后缀ee表示动作的接受者。)类似的还有:
trainee培训对象,trainer培训师;
interviewee去面试的人,interviewer面试官;

本句中This is表示要介绍的对象就在身边,这个说法更礼貌亲切一些。 而He is或者She is表示要介绍的对象不在身边。

用于比较正式的场合,其回答也是How do you do? 相当于中文中的你好。

hard-working 勤奋的,是复合形容词;类似的还有good-looking, easy-going, out-going等。
