cooked pork. In Chinese it's Huíguōròu which to the untrained ear sounds a lot like Huíguóròu（回国肉）which means return from abroad meat, which is exactly what I am.

And I made it to Harbin. It's about 20 below here, but I haven't felt it yet.

Here we visit the Harbin Engineering University campus where they host a snow carving exhibition. Schools from all around China and several different countries came to carve and compete.

Made it to Daqing, the oil city of China. Stayed at the Daqing Hotel which has seen much better days. Next door a brand new Wanda plaza was built with a Sheraton. The days of old iron Wang Jingxi are now passed.

And last evening in Beijing, dinner must be Jiaozi dumplings and cabbage accompanied by a warm bottle of Yanjing beer.
