用英语表达“降价”，主要有以下几种方式：

① cut 减掉、砍掉

※ 在用cut表示降价的时候，要注意区分介词by和to：
The price has been cut by 30%.

② go down 向下、下降

柴油便宜了。

可以表达类似含义的短语还有bring down/mark down/push down/come down in price等。

③ drop/fall 下降、下跌

汽油价格下跌10美分，至每加仑4.27美元。

④slump 骤降、陡降、暴跌

Oil prices slumped during the recession.
