男，研究员/教授，博士研究生与博士后导师，现任中国医学科学院/北京协和医学院肿瘤研究所流行病学研究室主任。中国癌症基金会副秘书长与国际合作部主任。兼任中国抗癌协会肿瘤流行病专业委员会候任主任委员、亚太地区生殖道感染与肿瘤组织主席、世界卫生组织（WHO）、中国卫生部癌症专家组成员。发表中英文科学论文400余篇,其中国外SCI收录的英文论文160多篇。曾就读和工作于华西医科大学、大连医科大学、美国约翰斯.霍普金斯大学和美国国立卫生研究院国家癌症研究所。2009年被授予北京协和医学院教学名师。曾获美国“科尼留斯.克鲁士”奖、中国国务院政府特殊津贴、法国“欧罗金”国际奖、WHO/国际癌症研究署癌症预防杰出贡献奖章，2011年获中华人民共和国教育部自然科学二等奖和北京市科学进步二等奖、2012年中华医学奖一等奖。
Prof. You-lin Qiao is Director for Department of Cancer Epidemiology, Cancer Institute/Hospital, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences and Peking Union Medical College Beijing, China.
Before returning back to China in 1997, he was training for 11 years at Johns Hopkins University School of Hygiene and Public Health and Cancer Prevention Studies Branch, NCI/NIH, USA. He is also director of International Collaboration Department, Cancer Foundation of China, and Deputy Director of the National Expert Committee for Cancer Screening and Prevention in China. As an expert in cancer prevention and control, he serves as the WHO Director-General’s Cancer Control Advisory Committee and WHO’s Cancer Technical Advisory Groups for helping to promote cancer prevention and control programs in developing countries. He is involved in many national and international projects to study etiology, primary intervention, and early detection of a variety of cancers through multidisciplinary and global collaborations.
