How to make a New Year’s Resolution（决心、愿望）
If you want to make your New Year’s Resolution come true at the year end, you need to start this year with the right goals in mind.
Firstly, set achievable（可实现的）goals. Winning the lottery（彩票）, for example, is not something you can plan.
Secondly, describe your resolutions in specific（具体的）terms and put big goals into smaller ones. For example, your resolution might be “to improve my English skills”, and it will be more doable（可行的）if you change it to “to read one English book every month” and “to keep an English journal（日记）”.
Above all, think about the things that are truly important to you. When you find something is important, you have strong motivation（动力）and will power to make it happen.
