Clinical Study of the Effect of Primary Nephrotic Syndrome Patients Treated by Shuxuetong Injection

Abstract:Objective:To investigate the clinical effects of Shuxuetong injection (extractive of leech and Lumbricus) on primary nephrotic syndrome (PNS) by the clinical observation of Shuxuetong injection on treating PNS, provide objective evidence for the treatment of PNS.Methods: The 58 spleen and kidney asthenia and etention of water with blood stasis patients were divided into r

treatment group (n=28) and control group (n=30) by the visit order. Besides of the basic treatments, the treatment group were treated with Shuxuetong injection and the control group were treated with Salvia miltiorrhiza injection.After one course of treatment (2 months),the effects of two groups were compared.Results:(1)The total effective rate of treatment group is 82.14%,the control group is 73.33%. There has significant diference of the Traditional Chinese Medicine manifestations between the two groups.(2)The treatment group is better than the control group on reducing the evacuation of proteinuria, promoting plasma-albumin, degrading blood fat, relieving the blood coagulation tendency, reducing relapse rate. There is difference beteen the two groups.Conclusion:Shuxuetong injection coupled with basic treatments can relieve the clinical symptoms obviously, reduce disease relapse. There is no side effects for leucocyte and granulocyte by using medication continually, it is worth for clinical application generally.
