Quite frankly, I'm not sure if it rains a lot in other places. But a friend of mine who's born in Xi An，a city in the west of China told me it doesn't rain much there.

I was born and raised in Shang Hai which is a beautiful international city located in the South-East of China where the rain seson starts in April, usually lasts for a month, until the end of May. It rains heavily during this period of time which is quite annoying.

A couple of years ago when I was still a college student a rainstorm hit Shang Hai which caused a catastrophe. According to the news, more than ten people were killed and dozens lost their homes.
