I'd like to talk about a terrible experience that I lost my ID card in a trip.

It happened last year when I was in Qing Hai province for a vacation.

It's a beautiful place located in the west of China which is famous for the stunning landscape and gorgeous lake view. It was supposed to be an amazing trip but my carelessness ruined it.

Quite frankly, I don't really know where I lost it. During that period of time, I visited a number of places. Maybe I lost it when I was taking photos or running along the lake, who knows. If I knew where I lost it, I wouldn't let it happen.

I found that I lost it on my way to the train station. 

I was so upset. You see, in China, you can't get on a train or airplane without your ID card. There's no way that you can go around it.No one can do you this kind of favor.

So I panicked, afraid that I couldn't go home.

I had no choice but go to the police station to get a temporary ID card. It took me a few hours to get it done. Because of this, I missed my train and had to stay in a hotel for a night. It's a terrible experience.
