Scripts for History of Daming Palace
1、公元635年，大明宫开始建设，始称永安宫（宋吕大防石刻大明宫图）
Daming Palace began to be built in AD 635, and was firstly named Yong`an Palace (Daming Palace Stone Map by Lv Dafang in Song Dynasty) 2、公元662年，时隔28年，大唐举全国之力再兴土木修建大明宫
28 years later in AD 662, Daming Palace was renovated completely in Tang dynasty.
3、大明宫是中国古代最为辉煌的宫殿建筑群，曾经有17位皇帝在这里处理朝政
Daming Palace is the most splendid ancient Chinese palace cluster, where 17 emperors had been dealing with the affairs of state.
4、公元904年，唐末战乱，大明宫毁于战火，都城迁往洛阳
In AD 904, war broke out in the last years of Tang dynasty and the Daming Palace was destroyed in the war. After this, Luoyang became the new capital.
5、公元1907年，日本游人留影于大明宫遗址
In AD 1907, a Japanese visitor took a picture at Daming Palace Relics Site.
6、公元1908年，日本人足立喜六拍摄太液池蓬莱岛遗址

In October 2006, the “Humanistic Olympics • Pageant Xi`an” major cultural and performing arts event was held at the site of Hanyuan Palace, marking a start point of Daming Palace Relics Site protection exhibition.
12、2008年3月29日，丹凤门遗址保护展示工程启动建设，标志着大明宫国家遗址公园的建设工作全面展开。
On March 29, 2008, construction of Danfeng Portal Site Protection Exhibition Project was launched, marking construction work of Daming Palace National Heritage Park in full swing . 13、2010年1月20日，丹凤门遗址保护展示工程主体竣工，成为西安的又一地标性建筑
On January 20, 2010, the principal part of Danfeng Portal Site Protection Exhibition Project was completed, creating a new landmark in Xi`an.
14、2009年9月9日，史诗纪录片《大明宫》在联合国总部首映，开创了中国电影在联合国首映的先河。
On September 9, 2009, the first run of the epic documentary “Daming Palace” was shown in the UN Headquarters. This documentary was the first movie shown in the UN.
15、2010年3月31日，作为上海世博会区唯一入选的大遗址保护案例，世博会大明宫馆正式竣工。
On March 31, 2010, the World Expo Daming Palace Museum, the only case of major site preservation selected by Shanghai World Expo, was fully completed.
16、大明宫国家遗址公园外围由宫门宫墙环绕而成，目前整个工程已初具规模
Daming Palace National Heritage Park was surrounded by palace portals and walls. At present, the whole project has begun to take shape.
17、太液池是遗址公园中最大的水系景观
Taiye Pool is the largest water landscape in the National Heritage Park.
18、宣正殿和紫宸殿遗址采用了“树屋”的展示方式，这种全新的尝试，走在了国际遗址保护的前列。
Xuanzheng Hall and Zichen Hall sites are exhibited in the form of “Tree House”, which is a new attempt and is in the forefront of the international site protection.

After completing, Daming Palace National Heritage Park will be an Urban Green Lung featured by big clusters of trees and flowers and large herds of birds.
20、2010年10月盛大开园。
Daming Palace National Heritage Park will begin to welcome guests on October 20, 2010.
