Obumex is a kitchen and interiordesigner with head quarters in Staden, and showrooms in Antwerp, Brussels,Knokke and also Paris. With construction sites in Switzerland, New York and Corsica, Obumex is quietly conquering the world.

Eli Ostyn founded Obumex in 1960. Originally, the family company manufactured school furniture, but thepure, straight-lined kitchens followed very quickly afterwards. After some decades, the select Furniture collections appeared and the company focussed more on interior design as Obumex still does today.

35年来，Eli的儿子Geert Ostyn一直担任经理，使Obumex成长为一个充满活力的组织，雇佣了100多名热情的员工。今天，第三代人Thomas Ostyn进入了公司，专有技术再次从父亲传给儿子。

For 35 years, Eli’s son, Geert Ostyn, has been the manager and Obumex grew into a dynamic organization employing over 100 passionate staff members. Today, the 3rd generation, Thomas Ostyn, entered the company, and the know-how is again passed on from father toson.
