ordinary family. In some ways they are but in many ways, they are not.
The ordinary family in the U.S has two or three children. The Greens have seventeen children. That is not all. Fifteen of these seventeen children are
adopted children between the ages of one and nine. Each of the adopted children has serious health problems.
A day with the Green family is not ordinary. Camille wakes up early in the morning. She and three helpers wake, wash, dress, and feed the seventeen children. After breakfast, eleven of the children go to special schools. At 7:30, Camille takes a
nap for two hours. When she wakes up at 9:30, she starts doing the wash. During the day, she feeds and plays with the children. Camille cooks dinner before Mike comes home from work. Mike cleans up after dinner.
Camille is busy day and night, but she loves her life.
