I've been working on STEAM education for some time. To teach younger children the concepts of coding I have tried several methods which are mainly educational games on the internet. Those games sometimes works but don't last long because kids don't have their own computer and always be strictly restricted to use one. I found Coder Bunnyz by chance and then I play it with girls. I'd say their reaction to the game is far beyond my expectation. They showed incredible enthusiasm in this real-time competitive game which were absent when they learn with screen games alone. It works just something like block languages that every card could be treated as a block to compose different program according to different maze. This game has several levels to deliver almost all coding concepts from sequences, selections, iterations to lists, queues, stacks, and even parallel computing or inheritance. By this way it would help children code with block languages such as Scratch or Snap! more easily in the future. As a board game it gives a more lively learning environment than other online games because every time you play with different friends just sitting around you and maybe it could encourage leadership through the game. The game would also satisfy parents by driving children far from screens which would do harm to their eyes. It's really an amazing game I hope more and more people would realize its charm.
