埃里克·帕特里克·克莱普顿（Eric Patrick Clapton），1945年3月30日出生的英国音乐人、歌手及作曲人。虽然他的曲风多变，但是他的大部分作品还是基于布鲁斯风格。曾经获得过格莱美奖，是20世纪最成功的音乐家之一。

Wonderful Tonight是Eric有天要和妻子出去参加一个聚会，妻子在打扮，Eric闲着无聊，在客厅摆弄吉他写出来的，记录下那个美妙时刻。感动了无数的人。
