这样的“英语阅读”，不惧怕“哑巴英语”：poverty reduction

为什么很多人：我英语“读”了这么多，结果还是“哑巴英语”？

因为你根本就不是“英语阅读”，而是拿英语文章“读”中文而已。

一、你用你的“英语阅读”习惯读读下面英语试试：

全国832个国家级贫困县全部摘帽

China has achieved the feat of removing all remaining counties from the country's poverty list. The last nine impoverished counties, all in southwest China's Guizhou Province, have eliminated absolute poverty, the provincial government announced on Monday. This means that all 832 registered poor counties in China have shaken off poverty.

 11月23日下午，贵州宣布9个县退出贫困县序列，至此，贵州所有贫困县实现脱贫摘帽，国务院扶贫办确定的全国832个国家级贫困县全部摘帽。

上面的“阅读”不叫“英语阅读”，而是“中文翻译”，而“英译汉”是一门单独的训练科目，与“英语阅读”是“理解”与“表达”的关系。

二、用英语读英语，根除“哑巴英语”的良药

任何只能用中文“读懂”英语China has achieved the feat of removing all remaining counties from the country's poverty list的“中文意思”的都是“伪” 英语阅读。他们的“阅读”只关注：这句英语的中文什么意思？他们无法从上下文“会说话”的英语“知道”：Okay.I got you.I knoe what removing all remaining counties from the poverty list means.

他们的“英语阅读”也没有在“用”英语，是所谓的英语“学而不用”，“学”“用”脱节的典型体现，也是“读得再多”依然是“哑巴英语”的根源。

也就是说，“英语阅读”是通过英语同义词“互为解释”，“互为理解”就能“读懂”，中文“是多余的”。只是很多人脱离了中文英语就“看不懂”，用中文一时“看懂”的快乐，代价就是“哑巴英语”。
