西方服装打通了传承到发展的脉路，从古典到现代一条线下来非常清晰，所以我们如果要做好服装，还真的要好好研究一下西服发展史。王受之的《世界时装史》写得很有意思，不过他的重点是讲“时装”，西方服饰近100年的发展历史，有兴趣的读者可以搜索看看。
