When asked where to learn English in Tibet, people all recommend to find Sharon who has been teaching more than 3,000 students in over 20 years.
Pushing open the auspicious-paintings decorated door of a Tibetan house in the original downtown area of Lhasa, here arrive Sharon's home.
In 1987, Sharon set her foot on the plateau for the first time. Different from other visitors, Sharon almost never leave Tibet ever since.
"I consider myself as a Lhasa resident", said Sharon. And she views Tibet as her "second hometown".
Every year, many monks, businessmen, tour guides and teachers are attracted to attend Sharon's English training courses. During her getting along with the student from all works of life, Sharon has fallen in love with the casual and relaxed lifestyle of Lhasa.
"Life pace in American is too fast, I can hardly get used to it", said Sharon.
