Comments twitter facebook Sina Microblog reddit BEIJING, July 21 -- China's netizen population, the world's largest, grew to 632 million bythe end of June, an industry report showed on Monday.
Figures from the China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC) showed that therewere 14.42 million new Internet users in the first six months of the year.
The number of mobile Internet users totaled 527 million as of June 30, up 26.99 millionfrom the end of 2013, the CNNIC report said.
According to the report, the 34th of its kind since 1997, Chinese netizens spent a weeklyaverage of 25.9 hours on the Internet, an increase of 0.9 hour from the figure recorded inthe second half of 2013.
