Muslim Snack Street -- one of Xi'an's three unique street blocks

The Muslim Snack Street is absolutely one of Xi'an’s landmark blocks well as a business card of the city. About 500 meters long, the street runs from north to south and is paved with grey stone blocks and lined with green trees on both sides. All buildings were built to imitate those from the Ming or Qing Dynasty, and all restaurants and wares are operated or sold by the Hui people, thus looking and feeling absolutely Islamic.

Inside the street block there are 10 mosques built in different times and of different sizes. The most famous one among them is the mosque in Huajue Alley.
