Dagou village is located in Yangquan, north China’s Shanxi province. Due to it inconvenient traffic, the villagers all moved out, which left the village empty until the couple Han Shuyi and Li Erhei returned because they are attached to the place. They have lived in the abandoned village for 36 years since then. Tap water and electricity is not available in the village, but the couple have been accustomed to the hard life.
