小朋友们，又到周五了，今天主打娱乐，搬好小板凳，《豌豆公主》的故事来喽。

The princess and the pea
豌豆公主
Once there was a prince in a kingdom. When he was 20 years old, an old woman visited the kingdom.
从前，有一位王子，他二十岁那天，一个老妇人来到他的王国。
“the prince should marry a princess this year. She must be a real princess. Only a real princess can save your kingdom. ”
“王子今年必须和一位公主结婚，而且她必须是一位真正的公主，因为只有真正的公主才能拯救你的王国。”
The prince wanted to find a real princess. He met many princesses. But there was always something wrong.
王子想找一位真正的公主，他也遇到了很多公主，却没有一个是真的。
“Excuse me. Are you a princess?”
“打扰一下，请问你是公主吗？”
“Of course!I’m a princess.”
“当然，我是公主。”
“No, she isn’t. I’m a real princess.”
“不，她不是，我才是真正的公主。”
“Oh, no. Don’t lie. You’re not princesses. I want to marry a princess. She must be a real princess.”
“噢，不要骗我。你们都不是公主，我想娶一位公主，但她必须是真正的公主才行。”
Finally,he gave up trying to find a real princess. He couldn’t find a real princess anywhere. He was very sad and disappointed.
最后，王子放弃去寻找一位真正的公主，因为不管在哪儿，他总也找不到一位真正的公主，这让他非常失望。
“Where is my princess? How can I find a princess? She must be a real princess.”
“我的公主在哪里呢？怎么才能找到一位真正的公主呢？她必须是一位真正的公主才行。”
One evening, there was a terrible storm. Thunder, lightning, and rain filled the sky. In the middle of the storm, someone knocked on the door.
一天夜晚，一场可怕的暴风雨侵袭而至，天上闪电雷鸣，大雨滂沱。在暴风雨中，有人敲响了门。
“Excuse me. Help me! Please, let me in! Help me, please.”
“打扰了，请帮帮我。请让我进来，请帮帮忙。”
The prince opened the door. Outside the door stood a lady all wet and poorly dressed.
王子打开门，门外站着一位姑娘，她浑身湿透，衣衫破烂。
“Who is it? What’s the matter with you?”
“你是谁？你遇到什么事了？”
“I’m a princess. Please ,let me in, I’m too cold.”
“我是一个公主。请让我进来，我太冷了。”
“Oh,poor lady, come in.”
“噢，可怜的姑娘，快进来。”
“How kind you are! Thank you so much!”
“你太好了，谢谢你。”
But the queen didn’t believe that she was a real princess.
老王后却不相信她是真正的公主。
“What happened to you?”
“你遭遇什么事了？”
“On my way here, I met some robbers. They took my servants and horses. Only I was able to escape.”
“我在来的路上遇到了强盗，他们抢了我的仆人和马，只有我逃了出来。”
“Oh, no!That’s terrible! Why don’t you go to the bathroom and get cleaned up? You’re too wet. Why don’t you take a shower right now? You need to get some rest.”
“噢，太恐怖了。为什么不去浴室清洗一下呢？你浑身都湿透了。为什么不现在就去洗呢？你需要好好休息一下。”
“Thanks,your majesty.”
“太感谢了，女王陛下。”
The queen went into the bedroom. She put a tiny pea under the mattress.
老王后来到卧室，把一颗小小的豌豆放到睡床的床褥底下。
“With this test, we can see whether she is a real princess or not.”
“用这个来试一试，我们就能知道她到底是不是真正的公主了。”
Then she put twenty mattresses on top of the pea. Finally, she put twenty feather beds on top of the mattresses. This was where the princess was to sleep that night.
然后她在豌豆上放了二十条被褥，又在被褥上放了二十条羽毛被。公主夜晚就睡在上面。
“Good night!”
“晚安。”
“Good night!”
“晚安。”
The next morning, they had breakfast together.
第二天早晨，他们一起吃早饭。
“Good morning, princess. How are you?”
“早上好，公主。夜晚睡得好吗？”
“Oh, terrible! I hardly closed my eyes. I seemed to have been lying on something big and hard.I couldn’t sleep well. I’m still sleepy.”
“噢，很不好。我几乎一整夜没合眼。我好像躺在一个又大又硬的东西上面，睡得一点也不好，我好困。”
“Yes,you’re a real princess! Nobody but a real princess could have such sensitive skin! Only you can save our kingdom. Will you marry me, please?”
“是了，你是一位真正的公主！只有真正的公主才有这样娇柔的肌肤！只有你能拯救我的国家，你愿意嫁给我吗？”
“Yes, I will.”
“是的，我愿意。”
So the prince married the real princess and lived happily together. And the pea was put into display at a museum. Now, this is a true story.
王子和公主结为夫妇，从此过上了幸福快乐的生活。而那颗豌豆也被送进博物馆陈列起来。现在，这是一个真实的故事了。
